About the Host

I grew up on a farm with many different types of animals. We had chickens (so many chickens!), cows to milk, an elderly blind horse, goats and pigs occasionally, 17 outside cats, dogs of varying sizes, and a turkey, named Minerva. I am not new to responsible pet-ownership although I chose not to have pets while raising my daughter- she was responsibility enough! Sh has since moved out into the world on her own. At this time in my life, I have time and would welcome occasional companionship, snuggles, and the opportunity to be of service.
